The Professorship of Information Technology for Transportation Systems (ITVS) was represented at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024 (AIX) trade fair in Hamburg from May 28th to May 30th, 2024 at a joint stand with its partner aeroLifi GmbH. Our project was presented in conjunction with both technology partners. In addition, seat occupancy detection in the aircraft cabin was demonstrated using channel estimation of ultra-wideband (UWB) sensors and data-driven classification.
