5G > 6G?

6G is the sixth mobile communications standard currently being researched and developed. 6G-Netzwerke werden höhere Frequenzen als 5G-Netzwerke nutzen können und deutlich höhere Kapazität und geringere Latenz bieten. 6G could use millimeter wave (mmWave) (30 to 300 GHz) and terahertz (THz) radiation (300 to 3000 GHz) for communications. The trend towards higher frequencies also enables new functions such as beam tracing or joint communication and sensing (JCAS). The latter introduces radar capabilities to wireless networks to passively detect and locate objects in the environment.
